ESPN Reporters

How often is it that an ESPN reporters always say something like "he is possibly the best in history." That's a strong statement. ESPN's Doug Gottlieb said Adam Morrison is the best player in the NCAA. Yes, Morrison is very good without a doubt, but the best? J.J. Redick, Shelden Williams, and Daniel Gibson would have something to say about that. Also, as I was watching the Heisman Trophy presentation, the reporters said Matt Leinart was quite possibly the best college QB ever. Did it ever occur to him that John Elway, Joe Montana, and Steve Young, to name a few, all played college ball as well? Some refer to Reggie Bush as the best back the NCAA has ever seen. Again, what about O.J. Simpson, Barry Sanders, Willis McGahee even. They were all great backs. They really need to think about what they are saying before just arbitrarily saying that they are the best ever.
