Could Mike Davis be out?

Mike Davis did not coach in Saturday's game between Iowa and Indiana. He supposedly had the "flu". Reliable sources have cited that a potential press conference will take place on Monday, announcing the resignation of Mike Davis at the end of the season. The 21st ranked Hoosiers have missed the NCAA Tournament the past two season, and lost in the first round of the NIT to Vanderbilt this past season. The leading candidates to take over the position are Mark Few of Gonzaga and former Utah Coach Rick Majerus. Kerry Rupp, a former assistant coach with Majerus at Utah, is an assistant coach at IU, which would make for an interesting coaching tandem.

Great analysis. What about Bruce Pearl though? I like him.

What about him? I like him too, but it looks like he's getting pretty comfortable at Tennessee. He's really turned that program around. I wish he would come to IU, but that looks like it's out the question.
